I'm so jealous!!! We were there last year at that park and were so impressed with it and the woman who ran the office. We loved Independance and all its history. Make sure to take the wagon ride drawn behind the 2 'ole jackasses. The driver does a fantastic narrative that makes the past come alive....and then there is the Truman walk thru the town stopping at the drugstore for a malted...humm....It was such a nice little town.

We lived here in our prior life(work) for 5 yrs and so most of our time will be spent visiting friends and attending our church's world conference. Yes, Cyndy, the manager here and her husband Jack are 1st class people. The Truman Library and the Truman home are also good places to visit. Tomorrow we are going to KC to see the Dead Sea Scrolls.

There is the best coffee shop downtown too. The fellow that runs it is a walking history book. We found him so interesting. Sorry that we just missed you though. Travel safe.

Californa, for sure, but not before stopping around Phoenix to see old friends, like Glen and I, among others. Have a wonderful time at your conference. I can't believe the Dead Sea scrolls are in Kansas.

Hugs will be delivered Vickir. Something was said about 54 rigs arriving on Friday!!! They have moved all the rigs from the storage area in preparation.

The Dead Sea Scrolls display was very interesting and informative. They have done a wonderful job in presenting this. It is amazing how they pieced them together and how they have worked to preserve them. There is still lots to be discovered and deciphered.

Kelly, Campus is our "home park" since we have kids in the KC area. Next time you are there, please check to see if we are there, too. We'd love to meet you. Same for anyone else in the area. We'll be there from approx 6/23 to 7/23 this summer and again for the month of November. Possibly December although we are thinking of skipping out before the really cold weather this year.

The woman behind the counter is Cyndy. She is truly a jewel.

Imp, can you get the wifi clear down there in site 27? We're usually in 13, 14, or 15.

Steve: we are not having a problem, both of us can get on and wow what nice speed. The guy next to us in 28 is having trouble. He goes out in the middle of the road to get it.

Steve, I'd love to go back to that exact spot for another visit but it will probably be every bit of 2-3 yrs.....there are just so many places we want to go to....BUT I will look you up! We're hoping that we can join a Rally one day soon. It sounds like so much fun.
