Can someone tell me ...

What the heck is the "Full-time Graduation Rally - Quartzite '06" tag line I'm seeing on a bunch of the new members' posts?

Hi Joyce! Yeah, we're keeping warm but tonight's going to be a real test ... the low is forecasted to be 22!

Hopefully, someone here will explain the tag line to both of us.

We are looking at upper 20's to mid 30's, it all depends on whose forecast you look at. Crystal River, where Joyce is, will have it around 20 to 22 about the same temps as you guys.

BUT...Here's the Wind Chill Advisory for our old stumping grounds in northern NY....
The coldest wind chills of 20 to 30 below zero will occur through
about midnight when sustained north winds at 10 to 20 mph with higher
gusts combine with temperatures falling below zero. After midnight
the winds will subside and actual air temperatures will drop to 10 to
20 below zero.

BBBRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I missed something, what tag line?

If you go to Escapees or RV.Net forums you can read all about our class. It started in November when one of the members said "Wouldn't it be nice if all of us that are going full time in 2005 could get togather. Boy did that snowball. We now have about 150 classmates and are meeting in Quartsite next January. You just gotta read the thread. You will find it on the Escapees forum under Fulltime class of 05.

OH! Well that makes sense. That's really neat ... not only an upcoming new lifestyle, but 150 new friends to boot! Cool!

Thanks for the info, adelmoll!

Glenn and Lorraine: You should have wintered in Texas. We only got down to the mid 40's.

Bill and Ann are right-- it's been a really mild winter down here. HOWEVER, we did get a nice little snow on Christmas Eve that reminded Cheryl (recently of Iowa and Illinois) of why she moved down here. Click on my web site link below for some snow pics in Houston and Galveston. Although mild, it's been a little strange: 40 one day, 78 the next!! We have our entire wardrobe out and ready for action.....

I'll have to check out the Escapees thread on this. Maybe we should get in on the Class of '06.

Great photos Cheryl & Pete. Have NEVER seen snow on the beach! Oh, Glenn & Vicki, it only got down to 32 here in Crystal River. Today's great 65 and lots of sunshine with 70's promised for tomorrow. Adelmol, thanks for the explanation on the tag line.

Cheryl and Pete -
Great pictures. You have a very nice unit, there. I had hoped to make a shingle for our trailer and do some other crafting from ideas we got at the rally last year. However, that lead to remodeling the work room so I can get at my table saw. Liked your shingle a lot.
Where did you find it?
