Shady Acres

Well we are here. have been for a month now.
I am working in the office around 27 hours a week.
They called a few weeks befor we left & asked if Ernie would like to be a maintence man. They read his resume & needed someone that could do alot of different things. He also parks people too. He was only suppose to work at the most 30 hours & has worked 40 hours every week so far & I am sure he will until the end of our contract in April. He is also on call for 2 nights a week. That pays for our site, elec. propane. All other hours are paid hours at $7.50. .50 of that is held back & given to us as a bonus check at the end of our contact in April.
The weather has been pretty warm so for which is great for the non working campers but is alittle to warm for working out in it.
We love our site ( alot of beautiful plants & lattic work around the cement patio)except for all the cats that run loose. They seem to think our site is there litter box!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I was just a camper I would complain....... but in our position we can't.
Next year Ernie will not work FULL TIME!!!!!!!!!!! We will have his hours in writing as I did with my position. His was over the phone so he is stuck I guess. My mistake

Shady Acres is in Florida. South Fort Myers by San Carlos ParK. Off of hwy 41 aka Tamiami Trail. It is more of a adult park but we do have a few kids here with some of the part timers. There isn't much for the kids to do here. None of the work campers have childeren at home anymore. Sorry this took so long to reply.
