15A Circuit Breaker

We seem to be tripping the 15A breaker ( wall plugs ) last night had a 1500W heater in the BR. Had to run on LOW to keep the BREAKER from tripping. Now this morning the DW BLOW DRIER is impossible. Wife with wet hair = NOT GOOD.

I have VOLT METER plugged in showing about 110V

Hello RL,
Disconnect the power supply, remove the breaker panel and check all the connections. Several members have found some to be loose, including myself. If all is ok there, change places with another 15 amp breaker, re-connect power supply, and try the circuit again. If it works the breaker is bad, if not, you have other problems.

Thanks Lonnie...We are on the road, but I'll give this a try when we return. I was guessing the LOW VOLTAGE might be the problem.

Note..Helen's 1500 watt hair dryer, on high, according to our 'Kill-O- Meter, draws 13.2 amps..not much left over on a 15 amp breaker. Our 1500 watt "heat wave" space heater draws 13 amps on high. Hair dryer/ a light or two, tv set on and "POP"

You can always look to see which side of the 50 amp panel you are using. May have too many high amp draw appliances on same side and will causes same results. you rig if after 04 has two 50 amp sides to the panel in essence you have 100 amps of usable power. I had same problem turned out both AC, Microwave, fireplace, W/d were all on same side of 50 amp.
Too figure out which is which ever-other breakers starting from left going right is on separate 50 amps, remember every other one. Wright down what is on what side and then look at it see how much load is on each of the 50 amp sides. I had to move few of the hot sides around to balance the load.
One would think that Keystone would have done that before it left the plant but not. We had all the large appliance all on same side, and was causing me to trip breakers as well. Once I figured it out I balance the loads no more problems.

Broome101, if you move those circuts you will have to use the 50amp cord all the time as the 30 amp will feed only one side. The second side is reserved for the second AC. They are wired this way for that reason.

It's amazing what is on each circuit, you need to know, in order to balance the loads.
Go to each outlet and identify what is on a given circuit, until you do, it will all be guesswork.
Flip, check and record.

It is my understanding that the 30 amp pigtail (at least the one we purchased at CW) has an internal connection to feed both sides of the 5er. I know it works because in a CG in Oregon, one leg of the park's 50 amp kept blowing and part of our 5er's lights, etc. would go out. Put the pigtail on and voila! All good.

We use our 50 amp cord all the time anyway so no big deal. Michael is correct the pigtail 50/30 has jumper in there that allow feed to both sides but you only have 30 amps avaiable with the adapter.
All I can tell you is I used my voltmeter and found how the sides feed both sides and balanced my loads, and have not blown or tripped breaker since doing so, so I guess something worked.
