Recommendations Sedona and Black Canyon Arizona

We will be staying in these areas in Early to mid March. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Need a pretty big site 50' long 79 even better

I recall someone saying there is a campground near Cottonwood that is very nice, and that ones in and near Sedona are very pricy. Will try and find out more since the guy who told us is in the park.

At Sedona we stayed at Dead Horse State Park. A few miles outside of Sedona. There are several sites without power, water, sewer though. We only stayed one night so no big deal. Don't try to pull the rig through Sedona or any side streets. The town is very RV unfriendly with low trees and no place to turn around.

Last year in March we stayed in Camp Verde - Distant Drums RV - right next to I17, across I17 from the casino - reasonable, good sites, garbage pickup, nice management and not that far from Cottonwood and Sedona. We enjoyed it.
