Maxxis M8008
Any new insights on the Maxxis? I'm getting ready for new tires and have been researching them and some LT's, we used Cooper LT's on SOB. 614's and similar are just too much [$] right now. The Maxxis top out at 3420# vs most LT's at 3042. The Maxxis seem to have a decent rep also.
Maxxis 235/80R16 10 ply [LR E], 30.8 dia, 9.50 oa width, 3,420/80psi, 9/32 tread, 6.50 rim. Made in Taiwan

Been running the Maxxis for two years now....no issues so far and they seem to be wearing evenly.

We have 18K and 25 months on the Maxxis 8088 tires and no issues. They are wearing evenly and hold air with no significant drop in pressure over time. I bought them on the recommendation of one of our members "LonnieB" who stated these were the only "ST" tires he would recommend. We have not been disappointed to date and as long as they continue to perform as they have, would purchase them again.

We would have them on now, based on Lonnie B's advice, if Goodyear hadn't come thru with a great deal to trade in the Marathons on G614's. When we need to replace the 614's we'll be going with Lonnie's recommendation at that time.
