Towel Rack 3611
We are trying to determine where to place wet shower towels in the 3611. We can place one over the sliding shower doors but where to place the other towel? We both use large towels for our morning showers! Not sure a rack behind the toilet is a good idea with the thin walls in these campers. If this can be done what anchors to use? Thanks,

We put ours in the hallway. Won't win any home beautiful awards, but works well for us and with the door open to the bedroom it really doesn't show.

I put two in our unit...one on inside of hall door using hollow wall anchors and one on the curved wall behind the toilet with one side into a stud and the other side needed a hollow wall anchor. John

We have a couple of those plastic stick-um hooks on the wall behind the toilet, holds our big towels, or robes or whatever.

We have one that hangs over the shower door and holds 3 towels.

I took a 10 ft stick of 3/4" white PVC and measured the width from the shower door to the back wall. Ours has a lip at the top so I cut the length plus an inch longer on each end, then cut about the PVC in half about two inches on each end to make the rod lay flat on the lip and the shower door frame. When we get done with our showers we just hang the towels on the rods and they dry perfectly. If you don't want people to see you towels just close the shower doors.

Another option is a freestanding electric towel rack. We have been using one for 8 years now and wouldn't travel without one. https://www.amazon.com/Warmrails-RTC...89%3AWarmrails
For us, unless it was a warm dry day, we had to dry our towels inside. And many days, especially travel days or bad weather days, they don't dry. We have the towel rack on the floor next to the bed. When traveling, it's unhooked and laid flat on the bed. Not only do we have dry towels, we have warm towels when getting out of the shower. It takes about 2 hrs for both towels to be bone dry,

Concur with Rondo except I went with a spring loaded shower curtain rod and just laid it across the top of the shower. Quick, simple, cheap and removable for travel.

We put a double towel rack over the toilet in our Mountaineer. There was a wooden holder with hooks that reminded me of a locker rooms. Removed the hooks and added the rack on top of the wood. Just a hint, I ordered ours off of Amazon and had to wait for the right length. If you find one longer than you want, you can cut the rods to fit. Now it holds two large towels and looks so much better.
