RDS Fuel Tank

Hi All,

Wanting to buy a RDS tank. No one seems to stock one. Camping World, on the internet has decent?? pricing but I just don't want to pay the $150 freight. And no, being a Good Sam member does not get you free freight on it.

Northern Tool has them, again $162 freight.

Craig's List?

Have you looked at ATI tanks? I got my 46 gallon for just under $600 shipped I believe. Found the item I wanted, google searched the item number and found the cheapest company. I think I ended up getting it from plastic-tank.com.

The ATI tanks are made in Winterhaven Florida and can be purchased from ATI. The quality of the tanks is great and the prices are good.

I installed a 30 gal. KSH tank in my TV and love it. Takes up only about 8 " in the bed and costed $420.00 w/ valve kit. picked up at Quartzite. They did stated shipping was only about $40.00 to CA. KSH makes all sizes and shapes. They are good people to work with.

I got mine through Amazon. Still had to pay the shipping. it actually came from Northern Tool and was delivered by ABF. Got the 40 gal with the tool box. I have BakFlip I top for my F250 and it covers everything and locks when not towing. I had to remove the top of the RDS tool box plus cut down the lip of the RDS tool box. Added a rubber seal around the RDS tool box. The Bak Flip top covers the tool box/Tank when I am towing and it keeps weather out of the RDS tool box. The RDS tank instructions were a bit lacking but once I got it right, it feeds directly into the OEM tank giving me 67 gallons of fuel. Sure is nice to be able to pick my fuel stops.

I have the 45 gallon rds tank with tool box from northern. I gravity feed to the main tank. Cant imagine towing without after I got it.

J. C. Whitney is where I got mine many years ago, so don't remember the exact price. Northern has a good selection in their online catalog and I believe that they will ship to a store in your area at no charge. Don't know if this helps, but that's what I remember.

Found a local diesel Performance Shop that could get me a 60 gal RDS tank/box combo for almost $100 less than Northern Tool.

Should be in and installed 2nd week of July.

https://www.bailliediesel.com/

Got it in. Can reach the filler with out my step stool. Baillie installed for me. Abet a bit pricy, now with 95 gallons I can be a bit pickey and not always worry about where to stop. The tank/tool box combo was too tight with my roll back top so opted for just the tank. (cover removed in pic)

Thanks to All. Jim
