Bed Saver with 5th Airborne ?

Anyone here have experience with using a bed saver with a 5th Airborne pin box?

I ordered the bed saver for my Reese 16k classic (non-slider). When it arrived, the manual states that it does not work with all aftermarket pin boxes and to see the fit chart (I have a 5th Airborne pin box on the Monty). Can't find a fit chart. Called Blue Ox, and am waiting for a call back, but it would good to know about any positive or negative experiences.

Thanks.

Wow, I'm looking forward to what you find out. I have a bedsaver with my reese 20k and if Nancy will let me the 5th airborne is on my short list. Steve

Have exchanged several calls and emails with BlueOx. One of their engineers is working on finding an answer for me, along with several other projects. I'll post their answer when I hear something definate.

I had a 5th Airborne hitch and the bedsaver on my Reese 16K hitch and it worked fine. I had a Montana '04 3670RL.

Did it ever actually "make a save" for you?

Thanks.

I was always careful, but I think it was money well spent for the bedsaver. The 5th Airborne is worth it's weight. Great products.

We have a 5th Airborne with a blue ox bedsaver on a Reese 16K slider. It works fine. When we slide in we just have to make sure that we are high enough to miss the blue ox. 1/4 inch is plenty. No problems with it at all'
