Thanks, everyone. We made it up to Guthrie Ok., just 26 miles North. We went around 430 miles, further than I want to travel in a day, but we had a tail wind, one of the few I can remember....
around 300 tomorrow, and home to our winterized place, probably a weeks worth of winter related repairs...hope not.
The new rubber seems great, no problems. I turned a little short in a cramped gas station and dented the two chrome covers over the axle-axel, (take your pick) but it's kind of a neat crimp, catches the light when we roll down the highway...
You all take care.
Ozz

Ozz you should be getting great MPG. We just got back to Kansas from Pennsylvania last night and the wind out of the South will almost blow you down. The first thing you will need to do is mow your yard when you get back. Drive safe.

Hi Dennis, good to hear from you. Yes the wind is very strong, we are being blown back and forth here in the C.G., I just can't believe the luck of a South wind, this has to be a first. (About time)
Yep, hope the mower starts, had a battery maintainer on it all winter.
You will be a great wagon-master at Branson, a nicer, smarter guy than you, will be a futile search in these parts.

Loved all the areas we saw, just need to sell the house here, then with cash, we can start dealing with the final location.
