Spring Rally Golf

I would be happy to contact area courses and set up a golf outing. Just need to figure the amount of interest in going so I know how many tee time to reserve.

It looks like there are some really nice courses in the area for a variety of prices.

Just reply and I'll get to work on it.

Tom

Thanks for volunteering Tom. As we get closer to rally week, we can figure out which day works best for the golf outing.

If you want to play golf, we will be playing on Monday the 25th. Course to be determined, as close to RV park as possible. I can drive and depending on how many go may need another rig.

If anyone has a course preference, let me know. I've never been there before and only knowledge is from the course websites.

If you are interested in playing golf with the group, now's the time to sign up so Tom has an idea of how many players will be joining him.

Near By Golf Courses

Thanks Tom for taking on the golf outing. Here’s three courses with driving times, distances and green fees from Mountain Valley RV Resort.

SOLDIER HOLLOW GC 13 minutes (7 miles), 2 - Tracks, Gold Course and Silver Course $45 $40 (senior)

WASATCH MOUNTAIN GC 17 minutes (8.2 miles), 2 - Tracks, Lake Course and Mountain Course $50 $45 (senior)

CARTER SPRINGS GC 16 minutes (7 miles), $45 $36 (senior)

Daria and I are playing. With a 5,000 plus elevation, drives should be impressive. Looking forward to the entire trip! Long and Straight!

I will be making the tee times shortly. So far I have 8 yeses and one maybe.

I would like to make the times as early as everybody is comfortable with, say around 8:00 am, so we can finish early to have the rest of the day to enjoy the other stuff Utah has to offer.

If this is too early for anyone please let me know ASAP. If I don't hear form anyone to the contrary, I will book the early times.

Thanks, Tom

Soldier Hollow looks like a nice course but they only book tee time 1 week in advance. Called and they said the 25th is open. I will call first thing Monday to book the times.

The Silver Course might be more suitable for some of those playing, my vote is for it. Also you can book online 10 days in advance. 7 days if you call in.

Tom, looks like you picked the best golf course, Soldier Hollow. I just read one of the other local courses, Park City Golf Course had a recent moose problem that was chasing the golfers. Would have been great conversation during the evening happy hour.
