Helpful hint for the clumsy
So if you knock over a bottle of wine and it drips on the Propane detector in the kitchen, it will set it off. A hair dryer will clear the wine from the detector and clear the alarm. The button only quiets the alarm for a few minutes, then it starts again.
Since my alarm is 2 years old, I'll replace it when I get a new one.

It is sometimes surprising what will set them off.

Maybe I shouldn't have had the 2 bourbons before I tried to open the wine. Only spilled a little of the wine, Just enough to upset the detector.

Red or white? Sometimes that may make a difference. And hopefully it wasn't a special vintage.

We had a pet which set alarm off when he "broke wind" near the alarm. Go figure. Like to never figured this one out.
