Our 2008 Chevy 3500HD DRW's 4x4 towing weight was 2,500n lbs and our Chevy ready to go RVing the weight was 8,500 so if the Big Sky has a weight of 16,000 lbs or more it would be over the carring capacity of our 3500HD for 2008. The weight of our Truck and 2009 model 5th wheel was 24,400 lbs and we travel light. Our weight now is over 31,000 lbs when hooked up and ready to go RVing. That doesn't count the Chevy HHR when double towing. Weight will slip up on you fast. According to the folks that weight Trucks and 5th wheels at Rallys say that about 55% to 60% of RVer's are over weight, either pin weight or GVCR? I know for a fact we were over in Gross towing rating when towing our 5th wheels. GBY....
