Montana 2018 3560RL Questions

Greetings to all,

Looking hard at new model Montana 3560RL for full time use. Have not owned keystone Montana before. Does anyone own this rig and could offer and pros/cons. How is the Keystone manufacturer on reliability, durability, longevity and resale value? Your comments are appreciated.

Welcome to MOC from Washington St we don't have that one but some will be along sone
that does and fill you in on it! As far as Keystone and Montana's they are a great rig this is are 3rd one and we have had good luck with all of them never really ever had any problems at all. Very durable and we go out a lot winter or summer rain or shine.

Welcome to the forum! You'll find some bad stories about Montana's but since its the most sold rig there are a lot more opportunities for someone to be upset. If you look on the other manufacturers forums you'll find the same things or worse. We have full timed with Montana's for 7 years now. Our first rig did have some issues and Keystone did more than we expected to make it right and when it was fixed it was good enough we bought a new one this year. This one is also a great rig for full timing and if we ever buy again it will most likely be a Montana.

We are fairly new Montana owners but not new to RVing. So far we have been very happy with the Montana in terms of quality and in comparison to previous makes.

welcome, this is our second Montana, after our first, we went to SOB, but quickly regretted the decision and now back with Montana, much better quality IMO

A lot of how effectively any problems will be fixed is on the shoulders of your dealer. Those of us that purchased from a solid/ reputable dealer have far less agrivation during any repairs that show up. IMHO.

I loved the floorplan of the Montana 3402RL but ran into significant frame problems that resulted in us changing to a model with full box frame construction. Interior components are much the same through out all RV's but the frame, axle and brake system are the base for the unit and is very very important. Our problems with the frame were not well taken care of but I fell that Camping World was the biggest problem not specifically Keystone. I did contact Keystone direct regarding holding tank problems and found them to be less than helpful. They are set up to have you go through a dealer and again camping world was a PITA. I like Montanas but recommend significant research on the dealer you purchase it through!
