SHELVES ADDED TO CABINETS
We have a 3455SA without the central vacuum and the cabinet at the end of the kitchen island was tall with no shelves. So yesterday I made a template from cardboard to get the fit and angles correct then made and installed the shelf. From the looks of things, that particular cabinet on the 3455SA, 3400RL and 3665RE all appear to be the same. The reason I mention that is, now I have the cardboard template for the shelf, but have no further use for it and would be happy to bring it to the Siskiyou rally if anyone would want it to construct a shelf from.
I also added and adjustable shelf to one of the front kitchen wall cabinets. Again there was a lot of wasted space without the shelf in the cabinet. I used the metal type rails with adjustable metal tabs for this. The only thing I had to add other than the shelf, was a 3/4" square 18" tall piece of wood to the back left corner of the cabinet to mount that shelf rail to. The other 3 corners already had a piece there to mount the rails to.
I have posted some pictures below.
