Lifting RV - Level Up or ?

I see that some of you are using the Lippert levelers as a means of lifting/jacking the 5th wheel to service bearings/tires. We're relatively new to the 5er lifestyle and will be setting off on our 1st extended trip in about a month. I'm still gathering all necessary tools for servicing the unit and was looking to purchase a Trailer-Aid Plus tandem tire changing ramp, but now wonder if it's necessary. I would appreciate any feedback on what the standard practice is for raising the unit to service tires/bearing, if there is one. I thought I read in the Keystone manual not to use the levelers to raise the unit for tire changing?

Wecker1 - you might get more answers by starting a new thread. This being an old thread with many previous responses, there may be many who will not return to this thread thinking the primary subject has already been beat to death.

Oops, OP created a new topic for his post also. This one is then a duplicate and will be locked.
