My Latest Mods on the 3400RL

Been working on the 5er in anticipation of going full time as soon as the stick house sells. Have posted a few pictures. All the woodwork is done in red oak, milled for size and stained/finsihed to match.

Hope the link works, click on slide show.

Oh my Gosh Jim! What beautiful work!

I don't dare let the DW see this, as I am definately not a cabinet maker. She would love the shelves in the pantry, drawer under the desk, fridge. Anything more delicate than a chainsaw and a framing gun would tax my abilities .

You should be proud Jim - it looks better than factory!.

Thanks for the comments folks, it's nice to have a full woodwork shop, one of the things that has to go when we fulltime. We have to get all the mods done before that date, which can't come soon enough.

Jim, you do really nice work. I wish I had your talent. I especially like your shelves in the pantry. We are using wire ones right now but I would like to put wood ones in. That is an area Keystone could improve on.
Happy trails........................

JimF. REALLY nice work, I see you live in NB. Ah the Octoberfest and the Schlitterbahn. I lived in UC and Schertz and Marion for a number of years. Am really looking forward to going back to that part of the country. Maybe I can catch you home (heh, heh, heh). Ulterior Motvies maybe.

Anyway, You matched the wood perfectly and all looks great!!!!

Thanks for sharing the pics..

Wow, what great additions. Maybe I can get hubby to work on some of your additions. I would love the shelves in the pantry and the extra drawer under the refrigerator.

Great work Ozz. I really liked the cover for the stove. Would you show us how you did that at the MOC get together? Very interested in that.

Great job there Jim. I especially like the bathroom fan. The one in our bath on the Mountaineer is hardly adequate. Just enough they can say it has an exhaust fan. I've thought of adding a shroud, but looks like you had a better idea.

Jim,

Luv your modifications, I've made some of the same ones while on the road, but haven't stained them yet. I'm not to good on matching, and therefore would appreciate your suggestions as to stain, color and final finish.

Thank you,
