I have that valve and set up connected to our curb side tank. I only use it when I run out of the portable propane tanks...

We've had one of those for years and use it all the time. It beats using those little disposable tanks and is handier than carrying a spare refillable. We don't have room for one anyhow.

I also have that setup on the curb side tank. I use it both for the grille and for an external 100 lb propane tank when we used to spend December in Kansas City.
