Which Grease for Wet Bolts

What with all the talk of grease compatibility, I'm wondering what grease the wet bolts have in them and what grease should be used to service them. The Lippert PDF at https://www.lci1.com/assets/content/...ket_Manual.pdf does not mention service. Some of the previous threads mention Amsoil grease. They only have 10 separate grease products. I'm assuming that any good lithium based grease or even multi purpose will work fine. Any thoughts?

I think all of the greases are red now. At least all the ones recommended by Lippert. I was just wondering if a compatibility issue would exist in the wet bolt lube?? Probably not but hit here due to all the experienced folks.

Whatever Dexter (now a Lippert subsidiary) recommends for wheel bearings should work just fine. That is, a lithium based heavy duty grease. Just don't expect that wet bolts will be a forever 'cure all' for bushing wear on any TT/5er

Wheel bearing grease will work fine but it is more important to grease often than what kind of grease. I had one break on my LRE 4100 suspension and fall out so i had the I.S. installed. There is no perfect suspension and with everyone going with g rated tires now, it puts more stress on the suspensions because of the stiffness of the tires which have a whole lot less flex putting more work on the suspension. Just nature of the beast.

I think we're beating this horse a bit too much. Like Dave said ... about any lithium or moly chassis/bearing grease will do the job. Since there are no gaskets or seals to worry about ... compatibility really is a non issue. You're pumping 2-3 strokes of grease into an open joint made for the grease to work out as used. I pump a couple of strokes in each zerk once in the Spring and once near the end of Summer and my bushings last about the average.

As was said, just about any good chassis grease will work for the wet bolt suspensions, but more importantly, the grease intervals recommended are every 3,000 miles, and if possible, I would think even more often would not hurt.
