2018 3950BR delivery

I will be taking delivery on Tuesday June 20th on this unit. Any recent experience on similar units what they have found would be appreciated. I just gave up on my 2917 high country and traded it in. Last straw was water heater fire that factory denighed warranty claim on. Fire occurred at dealership while trying to diagnose what problem was. Dealership is eating repair cost.

I probably will not be buying anymore Keystone products. I have had two problems that started while under the Keystone original warranty during the first year. When the issues that were reported during the first year finally erupted after the year was up they refused to warranty the issues no mater how much proof was presented. I even reported the issues to Trailer Life Magazine RV resolutions and they refused to budge. It ended up costing me 600+ to get it fix under the extended warranty. That is because Good Sam Warranty does not cover things like flooring and siding and much more.

Sorry to hear of your experiences. Full timed six years in a 2010 3665 RE. It had some serious issues, but Keystone took care of them. Now have a 2017 3720 and so far so good. Considering that Montana is the most popular fancy rig, most folks have had good experiences.

My 2010 3000RK will be the last Montana I will own. These newer ones are having too much trouble from what I have read on this forum. I don't think the quality is there anymore and they are pushing them out the door too fast to be concerned that. Think I have the bugs worked out now and hope for another 5 or 6 years without anymore problems.

One thing you need to consider is that this forum is the place to bring problems. Considering the number of members, Montana's don't seem to have more problems then other rigs. Our old one was a 2010 and while they were making 4 less rigs per day back then, it was the end of the recession and they had a lot less workers. Not really defending Keystone, but we did feel confident enough to buy a new one.

My Montana is my 5th fifth wheel upgrading as we go. I had two Forest Rivers before this and had my share of problems. All of which Forest River took care of before and after the warranty expired. The reason I went with Montana was to get away for the problems and it ends up the same old thing but with no support.

Took delivery of our 3950BR on May 5th. It has been perfect. Zero issues. We've used it every weekend since we've had it. Just got back today from a 6 day trip. I'm sure you'll love yours as much as we love ours.

This is EXACTLY how I feel about our 2012 3585SA.

We took delivery Feb. 20 2016 on our 3950.When we ordered it they said it had to be built in Jan. to get all the discounts. I suppose that is their slow time. We put 10,000 miles on it in 6 months with very few minor problems. Maybe they weren't rushed as much building it so fewer problems. That being said I believe that these are much like cars, you can get a good one or a lemon off the line the same day. Good luck on your new purchase and may you have many enjoyable travels.

3950br

I have had our 3950 for a year. No major issues, the only problem has been the bathroom door, I hate the design. The mechanism fell apart dealer replaced it and before I got home the bolts had come out again. I reinstalled them but used Loctite and no more problems. We have made trips to Ill., Florida, TN and Virginia. Everything worked as designed and you will love the auto level system. When we where in Florida the temps were in the high 90s and the AC worked great. Hope you enjoy your new rig.
