Motor Home or 5th wheel?

We are considering selling our small motor home and going to a Montana 3685, we love the space, but it is so big...I have a 1 ton GMC durmax so a truck is not a problem...if I get a smaller unit will I be sorry...We would like to spend a month in florida keys fishing each winter and do some traveling...I would like to pull a 17' flats boat but i may be a little over length..which may be a problem...any thoughts or suggestions would be heplful...
