Texas Members going to 2019 Rally

Who from Texas might be going to 2019 Rally? We live in East Texas near Lake Livingston.

What route is best to get there?

I'm in West Arkansas, ( kinda near to East Texas... ), and I travel I-30, I-40, I-55, and I-57 until just before Chicago. Then turn East on US-30, North on US-31, then East on US-20 and South on US-33. The last part on the US hwys is a little bit circular, but really good roads.
As for over-night spots, I use Hazen, AR, Sikeston, MO, and Champaign, IL.

We have been there 3 different years,if you can go in early so much to see and go. Plus wonderful MOC people coming in early. First year we were there for 10 days, 2nd year 15 days and 3rd year - 21 days. We went from East dallas to West memphis arkansas and stayed at Tom Sawyer RV on the Mississippi river for 4 days then move on. Stopped there coming back also. Sure have missed it the last two years because of grandkids activities. but will be coming (God willing) in the future.

We do a regional rally in Nebraska in late July also. check it out.....

Austin has a saying. Keep Austin Weird. Bastrop is just East of Austin- Therefore We are just East of Weird.
Yes we will be there. We will be swinging through New Canton IL so our route will be a bit different

Today I drove from north of Trinidad, TX to Memphis. The interstate route was I30 to I40 to I55. Overall the roads were good except for a stretch past exit 98 on I30. The road got pretty choppy until I was outside of Little Rock. I was running empty BTW.

Back in the day my parents had a lake house close to Goshen. I used to pull my 19' bass boat up there from Texas all the time. The interstate route I took was I30 east to I40 east to I55 north to I57 north to I70 east. Once I hit Indy there were several routes I could take to go north (and I took them all). Now days I would have to adjust the route to avoid Illinois for legal reasons. I would probably come up through Kentucky.

Poor Arkansas suffers from poor roads typically

We live in Burleson, just south of Fort Worth. I haven't figured out our travel plans yet, but, we are really excited about making the trip and meeting everyone. We have also thought about coming in a day early.
See y'all there!

We are very new members (Montgomery Texas) and this will be our 1st rally,
From the post I have seen, thanks to all for their comments on directions, I think we are going to put the address into SkyNet and see where end up, Cyberdyne Systems seems pretty trustworthy.

We will be attending our first rally this year, arriving one day early. We live in Pasadena , Texas, just east of Houston. we are looking forward to meeting all our fellow Texans and make new friends from all over the country. Have a safe trip, and hope to see you there.
