Pulled the trigger on a new one today

Well we went to the big rv get together in Redmond about 20 minutes from my house. We went through a bunch of motor homes and 5th wheels and ended up at the Montana dealership in bend. I have a 05 2980RL and lived in it all but 10 days in the last year. I work all over the US and prefer to bring my own home. I originaly purchased my Montana for camping and fishing so size was important. We looked at all different brands and price ranges and I still am sold on the Montana. We chose the 3400RL because of the layout for living in it.
Any way we are thrilled and get it on Tuesday to go on a fishing trip and work out any bugs it might have. Then we are off to Greensboro NC for 3.5 months. Never regretted buying my first Montana and can't wait to enjoy this new one.

I have the Big Sky version of the 3400, a bit older than yours. We have enjoyed full timing in it since August of 2007. Hope it exceeds your expectations.

We have the 3400 and love it, We do not full time, but spent 182 days living in it last year.
It`s a very livable floorplan.

Congrats on your choice of the rig. If you are going to be in NC in August, perhaps you can stop by and see us at the mid-Atlantic rally in Marion, NC. It will be a good opportunity to show off your new rig and meet some MOCers.

Congratulations! Enjoy the new 3400!
We’re getting ready for our maiden voyage next weekend in our 07 - 3400. Looks like a very likable unit.

Well we got it home and boy do we like it! We take off for NC on Sunday and we are looking forword to the trip.
I did the PDI with the tech at the dealership and we found very few items that needed attention. We found 2 the remote would not work the tv.(tried all 4 from other units and would not work) swapped tv out. The other item was the crank handle for the spare. That is all we found on my pdi walk throgh. I am sure there were items that they might have found before but I was real please with the quality of the unit. Sure are a lot of improvements over my 05.
I sure like the Hickory and Mocha color combination.
Well when I get done pulling it 2700+ miles to Greensboro I will let you know how it went.

Take a deep breath and enjoy. We love ours! Just like anything you own there has to be repairs done. I would rather be living in my home on wheels than a hotel room or an apartment. We too love the open floor plan of the 3400RL. We will be off to work next month living in ours.

Safe travels getting to Greensboro.

Well we have arrived in Greensboro NC. We picked up the new trailer on the 5th loaded everything in the house into it on the 6th and hit the road the 7th. 2800 hundred miles later and we are here.
I have not one complaint about the new 3400rl. It towed great as all Montana's do and I am real pleased with all the improvements they have made since my 05 was built. The dealer did a great job on making sure it all was in working order be for we left. We had no time for a shake down trip so the 2800 miles was the shake down.
I am very happy with the new trailer. I am glad I stayed with Montana.

We've been living in our 2011 3400RL fulltime for the past eight months. Absolutely love it, as do our three dogs! We did replace the tires - scary blow-out on the highway convinced us they had to go. (We traveled less than 5000 miles on those original tires).
