QUARTZSITE RECIPE???

The day of the Potluck at Quartzsite someone made a Tamale Casserole that we loved. Could you please give us the recipe? We will be forever in your debt.

Charlie,
That wasn't it. The one we are looking for had some cut up tamales (canned I think) in it. Thanks for checking though
Jack

OMG, I was just reading along and all of a sudden it occured to me that I may have been the one to bring the mysterious tamale casserole!! Well you won't believe this recipe:

12 fresh tamales from our local favorite restaurant that I froze for the trip
l can of green chile verde sauce to cover the tamales
shredded cheese on top (Colby and Monterey Jack)
warm in the oven or in the crock pot

Now, how easy is that!! Does that sound like it might be the one Jack & Dave?

Thanks, Michael and Renee! That recipe sounds like a great one for a last minute meal that tastes as though it had taken hours to make.
