Official Acceptance into the Blue Oval Fraternity
Company provided vehicle left me no choice, so I am now an official member. The TV will not change, but the Ford will be tempting to use for boat and jet-ski towing rather than trying to maneuver the dually at our local very short ramp. Spent the evening cleaning the new F-150 just so I could get some pics before the truck is relegated to it's mountain duty at the mine. I am still baffled by the selection, but I will not complain at all. I like the truck, like the ride, and took DW and the youngest DD for ice cream in it this evening. Take a look, as I doubt it will never look like this again!!
The company I work for was bought out at the first of June, and as can be seen, I think it was a pretty good deal (on my part at least).

One piece of advice. If you have to tow anything turn the ball mount upside down so it will not drag the ground. I know several who have to do this. They lower a small trailer on the ball and to the ground it goes. Turn it upside down and the truck squats to the top of the tires, but at least the ball mount isn't dragging. I have several buddies who are stuck driving the rebuilt Dodges because their work buys the cheapest thing they can get. It does beat driving your own though and buying the gold, I mean gas.

I would get the company to pony up for some splash guards (aka moulded mudflaps) to help keep the side of the truck abit cleaner.

I agree with the need for mud-flaps, but they are very difficult to keep on in our conditions (large scale surface mine), have to get floor mats, bed liner and all the other extras added. Hoping to get them to swing for remote start as well. All they can do is say no.

"Never apologise, it's a sign of weakness" ,is a quote from Gibbs on NCIS. I looked in the cab photo for heated tailgate switch, didn't see it, so your hands will get cold when you are pushing. TeeHee!!!!

I thought the tailgate should be heated for that. I have a Ford (F-250), it came with a lockable tailgate, and I have truck bed lights on a switch. It now has a power lock on the tailgate that works off the key fob. I'm just missing the heated tailgate and switch for those non-start times.
What I'd rather have is a dedicated battery and motor to give me an assist (after all, my Ford empty weighs over 4 tons) and with my luck I'll need to push it up a hill of some kind. How's that for overkill?
Nice truck, not a fan of black but nice truck nevertheless. I guess you didn't get the new diesel motor, oh well.

Pretty truck. We have some very good friends with a new fully loaded top of the line F150 and it's a beautiful truck. Fantastic ride and they have been very happy with it. I hope yours does as well.
