DIY awning lock

For $40, it costs a little more than the DIY described in this post but it sure is clean.

I have one of them. Looks like both will do the job.

I have the same one Orv has, and like it alot. Install was extremely simple, and only took about 30 minutes. The do-it-yourselfer one will work just fine, but doesn't look as good, and will take much longer to modify and install. JMHO.
