Hercules Tires

Anyone know where Hercules tires are manufactured? They have a G rated tire that seems to be comparable to the Sailun's. I know they made by Cooper but wondering if made in the US or overseas.

Just so happens I know one of their Plant Superintendents. I'll ask my son. He is at the Findlay Plant. If he is slow to respond I will see him right after the Rally.

He keeps playing the 4 kids and crazy hours card for slow responses.

Used frequently by ranchers out here and I've had them on a truck years ago. They're a tough tire, but at least the truck tires were stiff and did ride rough. On the other hand, the Sailuns that came on the new rig seem to ride rougher than the 614's on the old one. Not a good comparison since it's different rigs, but it's all I've got.

I've run Hercules tires on my dually … they're a bit stiff, but wear well.

Exactly which Hercules tire would you suggest? I need to replace the GY on my Montana 2013 3582RL.

I would suggest Sailun S637's , with all the great reviews why bother with another brand. I wouldn't think even price wise, without checking, the Hercules can compare to the Sailuns.

I'm running Hercules on our 2010 295RKD Mountaineer. Have put about 10K miles on them. Thinking I'll get another 10K miles before I need to replace them.

Trailer axle/wheel alignment is such a pain.

Yes that is it. Over the last several years they have gave the members here great service. After the service they have gave and the price I donít see any reason to try anything else. Tires are one place I wont someone else test them for me.

They are, and arguably the BEST G rated tire for our fifth wheels on the market.

I know there are some that frown a little on this china made tire, BUT here is my take on trailer tires. My last set of G tires for my fifth wheel were the Goodyear G614's, they served me well, they had at one time, not the best reputation , but they have improved ,BUT at TWICE the price of Sailun S637.

I feel the price of a Goodyear G614 is outrageous, and no where near competitive , and I for one refuse to pay that kind of money for arguably an inferior tire.
