Mark and Karen,
We were lucky enough to get into the same place as you folks. They put us in the back right next to the fence. Luckily we could pull way forward in the alley and back straight into the very tight spot. Wish I could help you with somewhere else to stay but this time of year it is tough to find a spot. We had some friends who stayed about 20 miles west of West Yellowstone and although it is a bit of a drive they really enjoyed it. Good luck. Dennis

Red Rock Rv Park is the one that is South and West of West Yellowstone. Great park but is no too large, call ahead. We were there early this spring. Will go back as soon as we can.

Red Rock is a good spot. Stayed there the last 2 summers. They should have room for you. if not they will put you in the field and at least get you water and electric. Talk with Karin or Georgianna. Tell them JP and Jackie sent you. They may give you a higher rate.
Also if you go to www.redrockrvpark.com they have a very nice web site. Lots of pictures of the area. If you look at the web cam on the left side of the page, east cent.mtns and henrys lake they are cams views from the park.

If it is available, Grizzly RV is a wonderful place to stay. We were there in July and it is convenient. A little pricy but very nice.

Henry Lake State Park in Idaho. On Rt 20 about 15mi W of W. Yellowstone.
A beautiful spot on a lake with some electrical sites. We stayed there over July 4th and there was some vacancies.

I'll second (or third) Grizzly. Beautiful park, and it's big enough that they may be able to squeeze you in for one night. Good luck!
