Some good warranty support from Keystone

Tomorrow, dropping off the Montana to our dealer. Getting new refrigerator, new MW/Convection oven, new black tank flush valve for the unstairs toilet, and the recall work on the steps. Got Keystone approval on the warranty work plus all parts delivered within a two week window which is the best I have ever experienced re warranty work. Was a bit frustrating for all these failures within six months of ownership, to include a few more I fixed myself.

That does sound a good outcome. Too bad you did have the issues to start with, as you say. Let's hope that it is clear, smooth highways for you after this. John

That does sound pretty good. My dealer took much longer getting several warranty parts and approval from Keystone. I also was very happy when the parts were in and I went back for the repairs. Of course one of the parts had already been used for another customer and another part was wrong from Keystone. My warm cozy feeling didn't last very long.

I hope you get all your warranty repairs done during this next visit.

That's the way it should work. Hope the repairs go well and quickly.

I got all my parts for my holding tank repair in less than 10 days and they were all the correct parts.

Good for you. It's nice to see posts such as yours. It gives the all of us something to hang on to. I guess Keystone does get it right sometimes.

It's a lie!!! We all know Keystone doesn't warranty anything for anybody!

On the other hand, perhaps they have been reading the forum and taking heed.

Glad to see a positive post, makes me feel a bit better about my investment (term used loosely)
I do realize that keystone chose parts to use and assembled the unit, but most if not all failures we another vendors product. Just saying. Good luck and hopefully trouble free smiles here on out.

Great post. One thing still gets me. I get parts within a week from Keystone. Over past three years, everything from full slide replacement, to broken cables like week on front slide. Ordered part last Thursday the came in yesterday. Never had a delay on anything. Just curious why others report long delays. In fact last Thursday a customer of the RV repair I use, accidentally hit my Montana. The bottom metal portion and cargo door of bedroom slide were damaged. The parts including decals arrived today! That's been my experience.

if warranty work, a dealer has to write it up, and submit warranty for approval which keystone in my experience has often been slow to respond. Only then can action start on ordering parts. In this case, I called keystone ahead of time, before going to the dealer which helped to expedite,

We have had our MW and frig now replaced in our 2014 Mountaineer both under warranty. We bought through Jamatt in Poteau OK and have been very pleased with their service dept. Yes, mistakes get made but no one is perfect. It has been slow at times getting approval but that is more the vendors than Keystone. Out frig took 7 weeks to get repaired because Dometic wanted everything checked out prior to agreeing to replace the frig. The service dept has gone to bat for us on any warranty work.

As a follow-up, the dealer called me up tonight. Unit was expected to be done tomorrow. They indicated all work done, to include frig, new M/W, black tank flush for upstairs toilet, and step recall, but they found couple of things wrong they found while doing the repairs, to include gray tank flush valve for the upstairs. They have arranged for overnight delivery of necessary parts and completion tomorrow pm. Our third rig from this dealer for obvious reasons. The service folks and most of the techs know me by name when I walk in. Three time buyer likely buys me some preferential treatment and we will take it. Dealership is four hours away but worth the drive for honest competent service
