Arkansas has personal property tax, stick house tax [minus $300 homestead], and saless tax on food. The The RV tag is $40, permanent, non-transferable, and no inspection. The sales tax is approximately 6.25% in the county. The positive thing on the sales tax [RV and truck] it's on the difference between trade value and new cost, not the new price. The truck tag is $27.50/year, no inspection. Autos are less.

OK, I have my 3400RL one year this month. Just received my new tags, are you all ready for this one? $621.14 for one year here in Glendale, AZ. It will get lower each year but not by much. No inspections required.

I pay an annual tag fee of about $50 for the Monty and about $80 for the Dodge. No annual inspections are required for the trailer. None are required for the regular vehicles either. The NDHP does have roadside safety checkpoints. They are usually basic; tags current, licence, insurance proof, light and turn signal check, windshield check. If they find something wrong, you will likely get a warning ticket that you send in after the deficiency is corrected. If they dont get the ticket back, you will get fined.
