Any Gamers Out There?

My wife says that it doesn't matter how tall men get they never seem to grow up

I play an online Multi-player game called Battlefield Europe. The average age of players in my unit is about 40. We get together every Tuesday and Thursday night at 2100 Est and have a few laughs as we battle other players on a 1/3 scale map of western Europe using historically accurate weapons including aircraft, armour, infantry, AAA and a few ship designs. Battles involving over a 100 players are not uncommon. The period modelled is 39-42 and the armies are German, British and French. My unit is Brit. More accurately I am in Task Force Royals which is in the 4th Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, British Expeditionary Force. We are a combined armour/infantry unit.

If you are a gamer or just interested in things military check it out. I can be found most nights sitting in a Matilda or A13 tank etc. trying to get the 1st shot on a Panzer or other enemy vehicle. My game name is the same as my user ID here.

PS Don't let the wife know I sometime sneak a few hours of gaming in while she is out shopping

Well I certainly understand the gaming bug. I have been addicted for years. Usually to the FPS-first person shooters- but have been known to indulge in the occasional on line battle or two. Mostly as a scout sniper or fighter pilot. Methinks I will check it out.

How funny I was going to ask if anyone plays games on the online. With winter coming up, I'll be living on it most likely.
Check out www.pogo.com
If anyone plays, my game name is ClassyRoadtrash.
