Tana's pink, Carol is blue

Tana has been winterized, Carol is blue.

Hope to have the pink washed out of her by January 1, 2007.

Lousy weather here in Michigan, we gave up trying to string together 2 good weather days, no fall camping round here,

BLAH

Ok, I am done whining!

Sorry your so sad Carol, but look on the bright side, January is not that far off. In the meantime, you always have friends to talk to.

Did ours a week ago and will only de-winterize around April 2007... We will not be going south to RGV this winter due to circumstances here... Have a great winter down south all you who will be heading that way...

Ozzie and Ormee and Ginette,

Sorry bout the April 2007, this is the really sad part of owning a great rig like our Montanas.

Ormee and Ginette, keep us posted on the home front situation, we are really gonna miss you guys this winter in RGV (provided we get there ourselves, God willing.)

Now it is time to see if ole Carol can burn up a scanner! Whoooeee, just found some great photos I have not done! DOING EM NOW!

Y'all need to move south! Hope winter isn't as relatively cold as this fall has been. That white stuff might cause some trouble.....

Carol,
I share in your pain, parked the coach in the garage last Friday. Actually just got done getting the boat backed in for winter as well this afternoon. As many others, I now sit back and count the days until April 1 when they come out of the garage...

I have to say at your expense I got a good laugh out of the title of your post. Since we don't have to winterize when I read pink I didn't think antifreeze, I though washing something red in the washing machine and ending up with pink underwear. I was thinking what did she do to the poor Monty to make him pink! LOL January will be here before you know it. BTW was 90 here today. Sorry.
Happy trails.............................

Carol-
Sorry, there are advantages to living in Texas, but I'm not sure they outweigh the disadvantages, 90 degrees here also today.

Sue,

Rather have ya laughing, COOL!

Judy,

Seeing that ole Carol is a southern born gal, moving south does have distinct appeal. Maybe some day.

We have responsibilities here, but well, ya know, ya never know! Maybe I will need these sun glasses?? Sure have not needed them around here lately!

Dave and all the rest of ya with Pink Montana's, WE FEEL YOUR PAIN!

Ok, back to the scanner, I just found a notebook FULL of docs I have never scanned, and several of them were about my grandmother. Gesshhh!!

Our Monty is pink too!
We had snow again last night.
Second snow storm this week. It
doesn't stay on the ground long here.

Our Monty will probably stay pink until May next year unless we decide to go to AZ for Christmas.

Last winter we winterized it 4 times! We should buy stock in the pink stuff!

We also feel the pain of winterizing. We are doing it tomorrow snow is predicted here in Northern Ohio over the weekend. We have reservations in Lake Havasu the 1st of Jan. Planning of attempting to pull out of here after Thanksgiving and head due South till we can un winterize then work our way, very slowly, to AZ.We will stop anywhere along the way where I can walk into a Wally mart ask for a snow shovel and they say.." we don't carry them"

We haven't gave in yet. But the Pink stuff is in the Monty ready to go. We have a 100# propane tank hooked to her now keeping it 45 degrees in there until I give in. And besides, it seems like whenever we give up and unload the Monty and winterize it, it will be 70 degrees and sunny the very next weekend. Only a couple of years ago we camped over Thanksgiving weekend here in NW Iowa. There has to be some warm weather left.

Carol - I feel your pain. Now that is a stupid statement, how can you feel somebodys else's pain. Anyway, we are making a trip to Harrison AR next week then our Monty will get the "pink" injection till next April when we go blasting down the super road to Destin Fl.
At least it sits here beside the house where I can go out and sit in it and dream of warmer days rather then have it deserted at some cold storage facility with other pinked up units.
But January is not that far off - grab Ozz's modification list and go to work.

Phil,

Good idea, Al has his mod list, and planned for the wood shop at Bentsen Palms Village. Can't keep up with the Ozz man, so, this list will have to do for now!

I really do feel sad for those of you who have to put you 'tana away for the winter. It must be almost as bad as coming home after a long trip on the road. Our little heater is getting a workout here in central Indiana (Bloomington) as it is around 40'. But we'll be heading south soon!

Ours just turned pink also. We spent our last weekend and it was the Halloween weekend at Hidden Ridge Rv in Hopkins, MI. Sat. was nice but very cold and windy when we were packing up the Monty. Now she's parked in the Pole Barn waiting for Spring. Stacy
