Bird droppings

Does anyone know what effect bird droppings have on our rubber roofs? Obviously not good but will it cause severe harm? Thanks.

I can tell you if those pesky bombers are like the ones I get that eat mulberries when they are ripe. There will be some stains to work on.
They sure are good with their aim when they see that big white roof down there all nice and clean. It is like a strafing run.

We're the same. We've been plenty disturbed by the little buggers presents, but they've never done and real damage.

You should see what a flock of Pelicans can unload at a single pass. Fishbones in something resembling concrete after it drys in the sun for a few days.

Birds can leave some interesting colors on the roof but we have never been stopped by the roof police for a stained or dirty roof.

On a related issue, I have a real problem with Starlings getting up in the fiver hitch. Bird "poo" all around!

Rig is 13 1/2 years old and we haven't experienced any ill-effects from bird droppings (spelled c r a p).
