Rubber Roof

Noticed the outside edge under the rubber appear to be delaminated. The delamination isn't around the entire roof edge, just in 80%. Not sure whats under the rubber. What say you roof experts.

Mike, There is aluminum under the roof on the rolling part of the roof. The rubber is not glued to the aluminum just to the wood part of the roof.

Sounds to me like a well-built camper!
That’s good to hear.

So what I'm hearing is the aluminum floats and is expected to flex when stepped on.

I'd avoid stepping on the aluminum flashing along the edge if possible. You may "can it in" and it won't pop back out. It's just there to transition the flat roof to the flat sides without having a square edge. Mine has always been pulled tight on the flashing without any bubbles. Perhaps yours has pulled from beneath the trim rail a bit??
