When Do They Mow the Grass??

We are in Mulberry Grove, IL--a small community of 700. The town is really neat looking because it looks like everyone mows their beautiful green lawns on Saturday. It was amazing to drive along the streets and see virtually every yard neatly mowed. So--is this an Illinois tradition or just a Mulberry Grove tradition? Your thoughts are welcome.

Drove from Valentine, Ne to Pender, Ne yesterday (Sat.) through many small towns. We were amazed at how neat all the freshly mowed lawns looked in "small town middle America". What proud, hard working people must live here. Saw no one standing along the road with their hand OUT.

They can mow anytime they want so long as the rv park itself doesn't mow our site during my sleeping hours!

We've stayed in Mulberry Grove! It used to be a convenient distance for us when our "home park" was in Independence, MO. If I recall there are two rv parks there and we've stayed in each of them at least once.

Steve, We stayed at Cedarbrook about 1 mile south of Mulberry Grove--almost sounds like Mayberry with Andy William and Barney Fife! It shows alot of people really appreciate their town and the surrounding area!
