Hi drew. I have the C.W. 8' dual side steps ladder, store it in a tube under the front of my trailer.
You can see it in my Ozz's mods.

We carry a 8' ladder in the storage compartment. It goes from one door to the other. Am looking for something smaller.

Ozz, do you have a brand name on the ladder? apparently C.W. only carries the 6' version. I did a search but came up empty.
Thanks,
Jim

Ozz
How did you attach the tubes under the camper. Are they tight and do not move when traveling?
Drew

We carry a small ladder (maybe 4') on the rack for chairs on the Monty's ladder and also 2 chairs. Purchased the rack at CW, ladder at Target. Then we carry a 6' ladder that folds up from CW. Right now it is just in the basement but we are trying to get either an 8" tube or the vinyl fence post attached to the Monty to carry it. Having trouble finding supplies. Hemet does not have the best shopping access.
Happy trails...................

I bought it at a Plumbing Supply warehouse; Reeves Wideman here in K.C. Mo. I attached it with 1/4" allthread to the metal bottom in the front storage compartment. There's some weight there, so I would use the allthread. It's very secure.

I have a Gorilla Ladder. It compresses to 4' and extends to 12'. It can be disassembled and make two 4' step ladders. Extended but folded, it makes a 6', 7', or 8' step ladder. When unfolded, it makes an 8', 9', 10', 11', or 12' straight ladder. I can put a 2"X8" or larger board across the two short step ladders and make a scaffold of sorts. Compressed it is 4' X 2' X 8" thick and fits on my slide in the basement. I bought it at either Lowe's or Home Depot.
Unfortunately, I could not use the ladder like Ozz has. They are only rated for 200 or 250 lbs.

We have an 8' telescoping ladder like JH. I stand it up in the storage compartment. It is all aluminum so it is very light weight. Would like to have gotten a 10', but we got a nice deal on this one on EBAY. I am able to reach all of the trailer, but the extra 2' would have been nice. It is not a step ladder, so you do have to lean it up against something like the trailer. No regrets with this purchase.

20 ft. extension ladder. Gives me double rungs most of the time. Also allows me to reach the top. Too heavy to crawl up the oem ladder. Carry it on the ladder with a laundry cart tied on it (Ellie Mae likes it)

I have the 7' folding ladder from CW, with steps on both sides. It sits across the main storage locker along the front wall. Easy to slide in and out from either side and takes little room.
