TireMinder Booster - placement suggestion

I have purchased the TireMinder TPMS system for my 5er. I also purchased the TireMinder Hardwired Booster since my trailer is 40 feet long.

http://minderresearch.com/catalog/i7.html

I would like to mount the booster in the front storage compartment of the Montana but I don't want to attach it directly to the batteries. I would like to attach it to the trailer wiring so that when I turn off power from the batteries, the booster is turned off as well. Any suggestions on where to tap into the 12volt power to accomplish this?

Regards,
Chris

I would wire it through the fuse panel or direct from the battery with a fuse in it and then add a switch so you can turn it on and off when not needed.
