Looks interesting Ozz, but I wonder how reliable it would be???? My concern would be that the magnetic connection may not be powerful enough to maintain the connection. What do you think? Michael

I was thinking of that, but I have a small protective 'cage' I made for a data recorder, it's about 5" long made of welded steel. I cemented 4 small very powerful magnets to it. They are so strong, you really have to tug and pull to get it loose.
I see they have 2 O-rings on it, with a tight fit and strong magnet, it may hold fine.

Looks like a nice product but I don't know if it is worth $99.00.
