Thanks. We are looking forward to really get on the road. But first we have to get the work done at the house. But when this is over on the road we will go.

Haven't ready any but George's first post but want to say... Sweet! Good looking truck! Congratulations, George and Rosetta!

Michael. The sticker can be a shock. However, I had a dealer that worked hard to put me in this truck.
Steve. Thanks. We really like this truck.

George,
It is now an Eastern MOC family tradition that all new trucks owned by Wagonmasters must be initiated properly. You are required to run the water balloon gauntlet at the next rally! The F450 is a large target, so even Jim and Cap'n Chris should stand a chance of scoring! Hey DeepSeaDiver Dave, let the balloon filling begin!

Well, I tried to overcome my resistance...but lost. Went to see my dealer. He had a 350 in my colors, with all the bells and whistles I wanted. It was mine for the taking!! We went for a test drive. I could not get over the difs between it and my 08! More power, better ride, better handling, smaller turning radius, great features in the dash, even air conditioned seats. But unlike in 08, hardly a dime in rebates. Got $8000 rebated on the current truck. This one priced out at over $64K. It will have to wait a while. Made up my mind about the ESP, though. Done deal. Good news is, I still love my truck, even if the new smell is gone...

Local Ford dealers have been advertising $10,000 - $11,000 off sticker price on Superdutys. That would make it a little more tempting. (Invoice is about 10% less than sticker.)

If they are a good dealership that is the going rate. Invoice minus rebates.

George,
I can not see any mud flaps behind the rear duals. I remember reading here that if you travel through Texas with a dually it must have mud flaps.
Good luck.

On the cost. The dealer has to work with you. Mine did.

DuraFlap mudflaps and Weathertech Extreme Duty Floor Liners will be ordered this week.

Nice ride Jay Bird! That is one beast of a truck. Funny - I'm getting my new ride from a dealer down there in Fayetteville (I'm in Goldsboro), because they were willing to work with me on price.

Gotta get me some mud flaps now - DW said no on the chrome ladies Jim suggested!

Good for them. I know you will enjoy the new ride and can't wait to get it under that Monty.

Nice Truck... If Keystone build a Tow Vehicle, I am convinced it would be that exact truck...
