Camping World Mattress

Has anyone replaced their mattress with one from Camping World? Are you satisfied with it? Will they take your old mattress?

Yes we did for our old unit. No, they will not take the old mattress. The one they sold me came compressed in a box, and I did not want to buy sight unseen, but did, and it came to life when we took it out of the box (do it in the bedroom!). It was a decent mattress and we were happy with it, far better than what came with the Montana. We had looked around, but awkward size to replace. Used it for four years, and we left it with the old unit when we bought our new one, since a King, vice the old queen. If same size, we would have swapped out. Believe newer Montanas with the king are pretty standard and replacements available at mattress stores everywhere.

While I was in Tampa at the Lazy Dayz RV , for some warranty work , I purchased a new mattress (King) from there RV store, the original mattress was very uncomfortable. I paid $350 for this mattress and placed it on top of the original mattress. It sit a little higher, but it sleeps like you on a cloud. Keystone can make some improvements in this area.

I guess working in a auto plant and sleeping on stacks of cardboard during lunch break was beneficial since I have no problems with the Montana mattress! If I did though, I think the first thing I would consider trying is adding one of the two inch memory type foam pads to the top. Several folks have done it and liked it.

What did you do with the wall shelves on each side of the bed. I thought about removing the one under the window and raising the one the other side? We have the RV king.
