2003 poor braking

2003 3280RL with original brakes. Purchased used 5 years ago and Camping World checked brakes at 50%. Have hardly driven it since. Just took a short trip and have very little trailer braking even with manual lever. Spun all 4 wheels and brakes do work. Checked adjustment and tightened each about 25 clicks. Is this enough to cause my problem?

Not only will out of adjustment brakes cause weak braking, but it can let the shoes spread open enough to allow the adjuster screw to fall out of place! Sounds like they needed adjusting a pretty good bit.

If your brakes took 25 clicks that definitely could be your problem. It sounds as though Camping World didn't adjust the brakes after working on your trailer
