Well I finally did it.

While packing up to leave Pismo Beach yesterday I got distracted while flushing the black tank. I wasn't till the wife of guy I was talking to ask if there was a reason water was coming out of my trailer, that I remember that the wayer was still running into the black tank. Over the last 30 years I have told many a new RVer that you never walk away while flushing tank. Well i finally did it.
Question, how do they attach the tank to the raiser. The water came out from somewhere. I did fill the tank this morning, and it didn't start to leak till after I put in 35 gallons, so the leak is at the top.
Crack or leaking around seal?????
Any way to check without dropping tank??
Will probally wait to see if we have problem, or smell while using.

When I did it, the top of the tank split off of the tank. Easy fix, but you have to pull it out, which isnt hard either.

Here is my original post, but my pictures are gone...

I would bet your going to have to pull it and repair a crack.
