Pocket door repair

Need help with repairing the pocket door. I went over some very bumpy roads and the screws in the real holding the pocket door up fell out. I have been able to replace the ones visible when the door is open. But can't for the life of me see how I can replace the ones in the pocket?? Any help PLEASE

I assume you meant to say the "...screws in the rear..." It would help if you told us what year and model Montana you have.

By and large, depending on the model, there is either a hole already, or you get to cut one, in the wall on the entry door side of the pocket door. There may be a pantry there or a closet. Usually there is an access panel (for access to the anti-siphon valve on the black tank?) which you might be able to use.

The same thing happened to ours. We couldn't figure out how to get to the back part of the door. Instead, John cut two pieces of 1" x 2" board that combined equal the depth of the door, then slid them under the door. It now slides in and out fairly easily and stays straight. Not a complete fix, but it hold up while traveling and we can use the door just fine.

Yes I meant REAR. I have a 2010 305RLT Mountaineer Edition. Not to happy with cutting holes in the pantary but I do have one above the frig that may work. I am thinking of trying the wood under the door that John did.

Thanks to you for the advice.

I have repaired pocket doors in stick houses with a little tool I made. Weld a phillips bit to a 1/4" x 3' metal rod. It is just a long screwdriver in a cordless drill. Use tape to hold the screw to the phillips bit and install the screw into the track. The door must be removed from the frame to do this, but it is better than cutting a hole in the stick house drywall. As Carl suggested, a access hole is the easiest if it can be someplace that won't seen.

Nailbender: Here I thought I was the only one with a tool like that. I used a 3/8 extension, that way I can add more extensions as needed.

Extensions would work great, but I only have a couple. A flexible socket extension would work also. But I don't have one of those either, spend too many years buying tools to bend nails with.

Thanks to all I have gor it fixed. I did use the two 1x2s and that worked to get me home. As the rig is still new the dealer fixed it. They used a long driver. However I am going to leave the 1x2s in just in case.
