AT&T Sierra MIFI works great for us. I need the availability for work. Can check the coverage map before settling on a campground so that I know reception is available. You can normally add the MIFI as a device, just like adding a phone, and the data is shared.

I always had problems with wifi, then I found a wifi amp. It is an egasky Mars A2414N. I paid $32.00 for it on eBay and it has not failed me yet. The average wifi at a cg is maybe 2 bars, with the egasky I get a full 5 . Check it out on eBay.

PS on our last trip down the Oregon Coast, we lost Verizon phone coverage at about Coose Bay and it only came back weak near Jackson CA.

Thanks for the info Mike I will look into it. Quite cheap even if it only helps somewhat. As for no service I am so used to that with ATT. For where I work Verizon works much better. Have had both and overall I would have to say I pay to much money for the service I receive from either of those two companies. I is much nicer to deal with than the other.

Recently stayed at a campground in Canada and used their WiFi and it worked very well. They way they had it setup is you received a code that allowed you 2GB of use and then would cut off. If you wanted more you had to pay for it and it was not cheap. Seemed like a good way to allow every one to use the system and not let the internet hogs slow everything down. I wish more parks would set their system like this.
