Digital Dish type TV and Internet

When we purchase our new Tana, one of the services we want is Digital Disc type TV and internet connection capability for our laptops. What do you recommend for hardware and services? WE have Direct TV at home now.

Seems people are equally pleased (and in some cases, displeased) with both Directv and Dish. We have had Dish both at home and in the Monte for years and have been very happy with them.

In the Monte we have a Dish vip211k receiver and a Tailgater automatic dish antenna. We get HD programming and changing the programming to get local channels from the nearest major city when traveling out of our home area is very easy.

Can't really comment on internet connection as we use RV park internet when available and do without when not. We are not tied to the computer.

We use a Verizon Jet pack on a Wilson Cell Phone Booster with an optional antenna for internet, but we frequently work for US Fish and Wildlife and camp out in the boonies. For TV we have Dish and a Wingard Traveler antenna.

For Disc to Digital info go on the net and conect with VUDU and check out UltraViolet. This should get you started.
