What Color is your Tow Vehicle

I have a appliance white Dodge Ram (or as the new name is just RAM) I watch as I am towing and notice the majority of what I see are white trucks. I am curious why that is?

2008 Chevy 3500 DRW D/A and it is white. We predominantly travel the sunbelt and the white seems to retract some of the heat.

Dark grey with black lower panels. I like it well enough. BUT.
I like white. I wanted white. With the sort of gold colored lower panels. But I could not find one outfitted like I wanted at the time I was ready to buy.
But then my previous trucks were (from newest to oldest going back 40 years) dark blue, dark red, two tone grey, yellow!!, bright red.

I have an all white truck and would prefer to have an all red truck. White just does not have that shine like all the red ones I have had in the past. I guess I am just a red truck guy.

We have a 2011 WHITE Silverado 3500 HD. We feel that white does not heat up inside as fast in the summer. That was our definite experience when we traveled out west for three weeks years ago. We compared our white Yukon at the time to the black van we had previously. So, when it was time to buy the truck, white for sure!!

However, red is my favorite car/truck color if this was just for personal choice.

If you ever play the "color game" with kids on a trip you should always take white if you want to win. White is the most popular color. I just happen to drive a properly colored RAM. It is silver.

The DW regrets that she picked out the truck, because it's fire truck red. She prefers white.

But Bob then you couldn't be Big Red!!! Our truck is white because that is what the dealer had. I like Red, Ed likes white. But he did have a blue one once. Our previous truck was white and we had it detailed to match our fiver at the time. We had planned on doing that with this one but never got around to it.
Happy trails...............

Try this experiment some time. Walk through a parking lot on a hot sunny day touching the hoods of vehicles of various colors. White is noticeably cooler. We live in Arizona, so we went with white.
