Steve & Judy, We bought a book titled "1,000 Places to See Before You Die"! It was written by Patricia Schultz. While not all inclusive, it contains travel information listed by state. We have used it quite a bit since buying it. It includes the US & Canada.
This is just one of the books we use, Others include: The Next Exit, Rand McNally Atlasses, Trailer Life, The Mountain Directory, West, The Official Guide to America's National Parks by Fodors and several others that escape me now.
Others, I'm sure, sill chime in with others..
