help with leaking toilet

Hey gang, I have a request. I was trying to fix my Dometic (SeaLand) 210 toilet. The water in the bowl was seeping into the drain. I took the toilet apart and cleaned the rubber seal and put it back together. I think I remedied the problem, although now I have a leak where the vacuum breaker plugs into the grommet at the rear of the toilet. I am looking for a replacement grommet. I can't seem to find just the grommet, only a kit. Does anyone know where I can purchase just the grommet? It is marked with "SeaLand 342958".

You may have a difficult time finding a stand alone grommet. you might take the grommet out, put lubriplate or plumber's silicon both inside and out side the grommet and reinstall. Wipe off the excess and check for leak.

I don't know what is in the "kit" but maybe the parts should all be replaced at the same time?

I agree with kdeiss, I have had two problems with mine and they had replacement parts out to me in two days and no charge. I was a year out of warranty, they have great service.. Also, when you flush they recommend that you simply slide your foot off the pedal and let it slam shut. If you try to let it close softly it will usually leak out in an hour...

Thanks all for the help. I called Dometic and they gave me a local number to call and they had the part. I hope that ExNavyDiver is back in his Monty enjoying the scenery.

We will be back on the road next weekend for a reunion run to southern Wisconsin. Then we will come home and slowly start packing for a winter departure in Sept. First to the National MOC rally in Goshen then back out to Vegas Oct or Nov and Q in Jan.
