RIP
No, not that R.I.P. an actual rip in my front seat where I slide out of the truck. Has anyone had their seat repaired?
I am thinking I may be able to order the bottom half seat cover leather and change it myself, any experience in such matters out there?

Ozz,
I did the same thing. I brought it to an auto upholstry shop and they stiched in a new panel. It was reasonable pricewise and it looks like new. I had them use vinyl on that panel as it will hold up a bit better. You can't tell the difference.

Thanks Jim, how long did it take? Did you have to leave the truck, or take the seat in.. I have to have my service truck.

I redid the covers in a pick up of mine once, glad I kept my day job. Next time did like Jim did, much better and quicker.

Here's all you need to know about seat covers. http://www.wetokole.com/ Undoubtedly the best on the market if you're gonna keep a vehicle a long time.

If your truck is new, it might be covered under warranty. I had to have a panel in mine replaced that was starting to rip.

I didn't think about that! I have a Ford ESP, the 0 deductible Platinum, I will look into that. Thanks
I saw your truck Mods very nice, you and I could be dangerous together. Have you thought about air horns?

And after it is fixed, keep the screw drivers and pliers out of the back pocket of your pants.

Ha! I have my Leatherman on my belt to the left, cell phone and super-bright flashlight on right, note pad in back pocket and my heavy Carhartt jeans, the seat doesn't have a chance.

Ozz,
I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon.
