Finally Time To Get On The Road

Summer is coming to a close so my job is done. We have enjoyed our 5 month stay in the Yosemite area. Now we are heading toward Washington, to see Carolyn's mother at Whidbey Island. Then on to Spokane, WA to visit other family and friends. From Spokane we are headed for South Dakota and on to Penna. to visit my side of the family. From Penna it will be down to Virginia Beach followed by Atlanta, GA then to Texas and back to Calif for a few weeks.

We leave Midpines, CA Oct 2nd with a long trip to Lodi, CA where we are staying at the Lodi/Stockton RV Park. On the 3rd we will head north staying at the Waiiaka Trailer Haven in Yreka, CA. That's as far out as Carolyn will allow me to make plans. She says from that point on we will just see what happens. We hope to be in Portland, Or by the 4th or 5th, but who knows and in Whidbey no later than the 7th.

DONnANNIE, Carolyn wants to stop in Leavenworth on the way across Washington, mainly to go to the Angle Store (her planned and unplanned stops is way she won't let me make plans ahead). I just hope the weather cooperates. We will be in touch when we get into your part of the county. Carolyn has family in Colville and I have some close family friends in Spokane, so we will be in the area for awhile.

Leavenworth is a quaint little town - you'll really enjoy it.

As for the weather, today it changed from mid 70's yesterday to 50's and rain. It is the first rain we've had in a longtime. It should be okay for October, maybe a little snow in the passes.
